Women's Team weekend summary written by Team Manager Leigh Pender..

Despite two tough results, the women's team delivered an outstanding display of commitment, resilience and determination across the weekend at Sandwell Aquatics Centre on 19 & 20 September.

On Saturday, the team faced Caledonia, falling to an 11-4 defeat. The first half was highly competitive, with the teams closely matched through both the opening and second quarters. The scoreline did not fully reflect the effort put in, as Caledonia managed to edge ahead and capitalise in the final two quarters.

The women were back in the pool on Sunday against Rotherham Metro, producing an impressive performance despite a 14-10 loss. The team defended throughout the game, showing great character, determination and attacking intent against a strong opponent.

While the results did not go our way, the team demonstrated phenomenal strength, teamwork and perseverance across both matches. The effort, commitment and spirit shown throughout the weekend were a real credit to everyone involved, and there are plenty of positives to take forward into the next round of fixtures.
