The U16 Open Inter-regionals will be hosted this weekend at Habs Boys and the Eight Watford players to represent the East Region are Apostolos Menepsakos, Noah Green, Josh De Almeida, Ronan Rodrigo, Tom Broadwith, brothers David & Luka Guzijan & Goalkeeper Jeremy Rotenberg.

Watford's Noah O'Sullivan will represent the London Region.

With both East & London Regions in Division One alongside regional sides from North East, North West & South West it will be a real battle to see which region will be crowned 2026 Champions.

The tournament starts on Saturday afternoon from 12.45pm with each region playing the other in 4 x 8 min quarters. The tournament will finish on Sunday morning with presentations taking place at 13.00pm.

The East Region will be coached by Martin Vinter (Colchester Club) and assisted by Simon Steele (Hitchin Club) with Sarah Kirby (Watford Club) as Team Manager.

Ahead of this weekend's tournament Martin had this to say "After the last two Inter-Regional Championships at U14 level and finishing 4th two years ago & then coming 2nd last year, losing in the final in such a disappointing way with a 4-2 loss on penalties to North West Region hopefully the Boys are as keen as me to go one better this year and finally get the rewards they deserve".
