The tournament would consist of six teams from across the East Region playing each other once, with the team gaining the most points from five games crowned Champions.

Our U14's started their defence of the trophy against Cambridge and raced into a 3-0 lead by half time thanks to goals from Josh De Almeida via penalty and efforts from David Guzijan & Haru Gnjatovic.

The second half saw Watford score a further three goals with Jonny Miller getting a double & Mila Guzijan getting on the score sheet.

Our second game of the evening was against Northampton and again by half-time we were in control thanks to a double from David. The second half saw the team go further ahead at 4-0 with goals from Lauma Cara & David. Final score 4-1.

Our next two games were against Chelmsford & Habs Boys and we won both games 8-0 & 6-0. Notable goals coming from David & Josh with hat-tricks and efforts from Millie, Nevine, Lauma & Mila.

The final game of the evening was against hosts Hitchin and again the team lead at half-time 2-0 thanks to goals from that deadly duo Josh & David.

The second half saw Hitchin score mid-way through the half to reduce the deficit but Watford contained Hitchin to see out the game 2-1 and win all five matches & retain the Herts Junior trophy for a fifth season in a row.
