This annual tournament is usually held at the excellent Letchworth Lido but due to flash flooding the pool was shut so we moved location to Northampton Boys School who won the tournament in 2025.

This year five teams would contest the trophy in a round robin format with teams from across the East Region, Northampton as hosts and holders were joined by Cambridge, Chelmsford, Hitchin & Watford.

The opening fixture saw Watford play hosts Northampton and in a very one sided affair Watford ran out 10-0 winners.

Second game of the afternoon was a much tighter affair as Hitchin & Chelmsford did battle in a 12 goal thriller with Chelmsford edging it 7-5.

Third game saw Watford beat Cambridge 7-0 in another comfortable win.

Games four & Five saw Northampton beat Hitchin 13-0 & Cambridge beat Chelmsford 5-3.

Game six saw Watford back in the pool against Hitchin and another 10-0 win for the team.

Game seven saw Northampton beat Chelmsford 11-2 & game 8 was a much closer affair as Hitchin & Cambridge fought out a 2-2 draw.

Game nine and Watford took on Essex side Chelmsford and in another one-way game Watford ran out 9-1 winners.

The final game of the afternoon saw Northampton beat Cambridge 7-1.
