After a long trip to Liverpool the team arrived early so they could prepare for a very important NAG's semi-final against South coast side Worthing.

Missing two key players following injury and a school production, both who play on the left side of our attack we went into the game with a plan to keep the game tight in defence and when in attack to drive across the pit and free up centre forward Matt Williams.

The game began with both sides missing early chances but it was Watford who broke the deadlock with a goal by Aksal Gerhardstein, but Worthing were soon level at 1-1, further chances then when begging as the quarter came to a close at 1-1.

Into the second period and Worthing were starting to cause our defence problems as several man-ups resulted in goals for the South coast side as they moved ahead 4-1.

Another goal soon after for Worthing had them 5-1 up before Matt Williams pulled one back for 5-2.

A flurry of goals them moved the score on to 7-4 in Worthing favour as Williams again found the net for Watford along with a Ryan Cubbitt effort.

With the timing running out Worthing hit the final goal of the game for an 8-4 finish.

In the other semi-final which was a very high scoring affair with 35 goals scored in total, Manchester edged our Cheltenham 18-17 so tomorrow's Bronze medal match will between Watford & Cheltenham.
